Loose Itinerary

Friday Sept 16

We are planning on hosting a lunch gathering for all guests. Please stay tuned for more information.

Saturday Sept 17

Enjoy your morning and then arrive at the Castillo de Colomares in lots of time ahead of the wedding for a chance to enjoy the beautiful monument and views.  A great time for pictures!

The wedding is at 3:30pm.  After the wedding, we will be strolling (about a 10 min walk) or taking a taxi to La Cupula Lounge for the dinner and reception. More details about the wedding HERE.

Sunday Sept 18

Those staying in Benalmadena Pueblo, we hope, will move to Hotel Mac Puerto Marina or close by and enjoy the sea/beach and the boardwalk. More details about accommodations HERE.

Monday Sept 19

Lots to do in the Puerto Marina area. Here are some ideas:

  • Head to Malaga and do a Hop On/Hop Off tour of Malaga.
  • Take the cable car up Mount Calamorro for the best views of the Costa del Sol and great hiking trails.
  • Take a bus to Torremolinos (15 min), stroll down Calle San Miguel, a pedestrian street lined with shops, pubs, etc and continue down a narrow stepped street to the beach and boardwalk and then stroll back to the hotel, about 2 km.  Of course, stopping for refreshments along the way.
  • And for the not so faint of heart, the Caminito del Rey awaits.

These are only a few suggestions! There are plenty of places to explore or just relax by the pool/on the beach.

Tuesday Sept 20

If there is enough interest, we are hoping to organize a day trip by bus to Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas (approx €60/person includes lunch). Ronda is one of the oldest Spanish towns and has an amazing bridge that spans the gorge that splits the Pueblo in two. Please let us know if you’re interested in this day trip when you RSVP and we’ll be in touch with more information.

Wednesday Sept 21

We know you will be eager to explore other areas in Spain.  Seville, Cordoba, and Granada are all relatively close but know we will be in this area until the 24th and so stay and visit as long as you are able.
